RLI Announces end to
Agency billed option:
Effective 09/01/23:
All new business will only be available to be direct billed.
There are a variety of options to make payments. For our retail agents that have
access to the portal directly, they will continue to have all their available
options.
Payment Options Available:
Send a Secure email to the insured to eSign & Pay online:
A link can be sent by either A&M part of Monarch or the retail agent to the
insured to esign the application and pay online. This will be an email that is
sent directly to the insured from RLI. The insured has 5 days to complete the
process before the link is no longer valid. The chosen effective date remains
during this time period.
Verbally provide login information to the insured to eSign and Pay online:
The
retail agent or A&M part of Monarch can provide the log in information, user
name and password, which can then be sent directly to the insured. This allows a
personalized touch vs the insured receiving the email from RLI.
The insured has 5 days to complete the
process before the link is no longer valid. The chosen effective date remains
during this time period.
Pay Now, eSign Email:
The retail agent or A&M part of Monarch, can apply the payment and send a link
for the insured to esign the application. The insured must complete the
signature step in order to bind coverage. Payment will not post to the insured
account until the application is signed. The insured has 5 days to complete the
process before the link is no longer valid. The chosen effective date remains
during this time period.
Submit signed application & payment to Administrator:
The signed application can be sent directly to A&M part of
Monarch along with payment information. Payment information can be credit card
details or a copy of a check. Payment will be applied at binding. There is no
need to mail the check to A&M part of Monarch, the check should be destroyed.
